„Cold climate calls for nothing but Greek/Turkish coffee and espresso in my opinion. A good light/medium roast with a touch of robusta brewed Turkish really warms a person up in the morning. Black, no sugar.“

„Classic espresso is brewed using a coffee roasted medium-dark to dark brown, but not black. This roast usually is called espresso or Italian in stores, but any coffee brought to a medium-dark to dark brown roast, no matter what it's called, will make a plausible espresso. Typically, however, blends designed especially for espresso blends make the best espresso beverages. They range from mild, sweet blends best for straight espresso, to dark, rich, pungent blends best for long milk drinks like caffe latte.“

„(Also, Robustas such as these are now being used in filter coffee "high caffeine" blend since the caffeine levels are doubled in Robusta over Arabica. But this really isn't something I am going to endorse, or even investigate myself even though such brands as ShockCoffee are doing exactly this...) Also check out Nestle's description of Robusta -interesting!“

„Mild Roast), and the apparently palate-dead masses who are willing to put up with anything, including a cup so dominated by cheap robusta coffees that it literally tastes more like an infusion of mildewed grain or nuts than coffee (Folgers Classic Roast). Both Lavazza and Illy Caffe enter the market for the more upscale segment of the American drip-coffee market in character. Lavazza offers a rather heavy, neutral coffee that probably relies on the better quality robustas (Lavazza Premium Drip), while Illy Caffe, the great European champion of pure Arabicas, offers a drip coffee that, like the famous Illy espresso, is so exquisitely refined that it barely whispers to the palate. In addition to the refined Illy Medium Roast, the other champions of the roast-and-ground category are well-established on supermarket shelves. The Yuban 100% Colombian is, as always, a fine, consistent canned coffee that offers a sturdy, versatile version of the classic American breakfast cup.“
