„My second Saeco Superautomatica is on its last legs and I am shopping for a replacement. I want to move into the semi automatic world for a better cup but am not ready for a fully manual lever machine. My on line shopping has led me to three apperantly quality machines: The Rancillo Silvia; The Isomac Venus; and the Solis S70.“

„I purchased this machine two years ago, after extensive research on espresso machines (which you are probably doing now, if you're reading this). I decided specifically on the vienna "superautomatica" and felt justified in when it ran strong for the first year. We're talking 2 cups a day for both my husband and myself, I drink mine with two shots and he drinks his with three, so 10 shots/day - IF we didn't have company! The machine makes great espresso, a nice crema, easy to clean, yada yada yada.“

„Whether to pull a lever or press a button is a subject of great debate. There areso many variables involving "operator feel" to making an espresso, that (thelever view) to press a button for the critical step is like hitching the lastquarter mile up Mount Washington after climbing all morning, -vs- (thepump view) there are enough control variables to give up a few degrees offreedom, and a good pump can do a steadier job of extraction than a lever. Everyoneagrees that a Pavoni has a great deal of personality; some just feel that it has too much.“

„WholeLatteLove.ComBuy in Canada QualityCoffeeSystems The Gaggia and Pavoni Levers Love them or hate them, the classics are here to stay. The Gaggia and Pavoni lever powered espresso makers are more than just a pretty face in the kitchen. When it comes to espresso, with these units it is you against the elements. There is no pump to assist you.“
