„After living in Europe for a few years I became attached to Douwe Egberts, Aroma Rood (red package). Now that I'm back in the States and imported packages are $$$ ($5 USD for 250mg), I'm looking for a replacement. Can anyone that's had DE recommend something stateside that is comparable?“

„It only uses Douwe Egberts pods, and I spoke to another Coffee company a while ago and they said there where some lawsuits against different coffee company's because they wanted to make pods that can be used in the Senseo machine. The company I spoke to already had the pods but weren't allowed to sell them yet. Albert Hein is a very large supermarket chain that probably re-brands Douwe Egberts coffee and sells it under their own name.“

Tiki Caffé from Matthew Algie is similar in price to their decaffeinated coffee, costs around a fifth of a penny more per cup than their popular premium coffee, but is cheaper than their speciality and gourmet coffees. Bewley's Direct works out at 0.7p more per cup than their regular coffees.“
