„wait a minute, ok yeah, so coffee alone doesn't stunt your growth right? but then wouldn't it be the side effects of coffee that would? like people say that we need sleep for growth, but then we drink coffee and that would interfere with our sleep? I don't know...I may be wrong, well i hope so, cause i love coffee“

„The main strength of this book is that it teaches the chocolate lover that it really does matter about the cacao beans, just as it matters with coffee beans or wine grapes. Where was it grown? What variety is it?“

„There are some sweet notes in the taste, especially in the finish. While I prefer Kona when it comes to the "premium" beans on the market, I have to say Kona doesn't hold a candle to JBM for espresso. The Old Tavern, straight up for espresso, the day after roasting, is probably in my top 3 or 4 beans for espresso. It had a nice zing, a fairly smooth finish, and lingered for quite a while on the tastebuds, in a generally good way.“

„a marketing opportunity. The bean is so small that it precludes selling to commercial roasters. That's true and fine, but it doesn't preclude selling the beans to home roasters, or to fluid air roasters such as those using the Sivitz system, or the Syd and Jerry roaster.“

„Low body and light acidity. The beans are dry. This roast is too light and does not allow the coffee to develop to its full potential.“
