„Hey sorry I read this post before...the brewer is simple to use...put filter in top....put grounds in the filter( a wee bit finer than auto drip) pour water from a tea kettle over grounds...not boiling...just before boil....waitl til water filters through...pull filter out...pour coffee...in my opinion black with a wee bit or more of scotch...these brewers kick ass!! I used to own one wish I still had it!“

„The filtered, drip method of producing coffee is a definite step up from instant, and to many, not much of a step down in quality from a vacuum brewer. To get your coffee automatically, and all you had to do after was to dump your filter and grounds in the garbage and rinse (or autodishwash) your coffee pot... well, this was convenience without too much loss of quality.“

„In filter and drip systems, avoid brewing less than the brewer's full capacity. If the pot is made to brew six cups, the coffee will taste better if you brew the full six.“

„To brew coffee in a drip brewer place a thick paper filter in the brewing cone (basket) and wet thoroughly with water. This helps remove the paper taste from the filter. Then freshly grind the coffee using a medium grinder setting.“
