„Buck's County in PA has some great coffees as do other roasters. Green Mountain has some great coffees and they roast for Newman's Own Organics. One of the Newman's Own coffees just got rated best among several coffees tasted in Eating Well magazine.“

For RIO roasters who buy (not produce) green within origin and roast within origin: A verifiable report listing a) beginning green inventory pounds, b) pounds of green roasted, c) percent and pounds of roast weight loss, d) distribution of roasted pounds into packaged quantities (i.e.: 5#, 1#, ˝#, 10 oz, 3 ˝ oz, etc., consumed as tasting samples, home use, etc.), and d) the ending inventory of green. The packaged total weight for commercial sale and donations must be approximately the same as the number of 100% stickers, recognizing a small percent of error for ruined labels, roast errors, etc.“

„This is its biggest plus, in my opinion. It also does a different style of roast than air roasters like the Hearthware or FreshRoast do. It tends to give more body to the beans that like body, which is good, but also tends to mute bright notes in beans you want to have bright notes in, which isn't so good. Construction is pretty good in the device, and while I expected that there would be a lot more interactive controls on the device (in pictures, it looks like this, but in reality, the control panel is mostly stickers that do nothing, other than a heat and cool button), bottom line is, it does the job.“
