  „I recently received a drip coffeemaker which uses a basket style filter. I hate to look a gift horse in the mouth, but it seems to me that the basket wouldn't provide as thorough a saturation of the ground beans as a cone filter would. I tried to find some verification of this thought on a Google search but was unsuccessful.“
