„“The Taste of Fair Trade” culinary event will kick off National Fair Trade month in the Midwest on October 7th, featuring one of Milwaukee’s most respected chefs. Members of the local media and guests will sample Fair Trade coffees provided by Alterra Coffee Roasters and specially prepared gourmet treats. Special guests include Cesar Gonzales, a Nicaraguan coffee farmer with CECOCAFEN, and Haven Bourque of TransFair USA, the country’s only Fair Trade certifying agency.
