Three Single Origins and a Blend
[larryhalff.com] Last month I made a brief visit to Seattle for work, and somehow found the time to visit some coffee roasters: Victrola, Lighthouse, and Vivace. Coincidently, Cory had been there the week prior and had brought us back a big haul of beans which included a couple of roasts from Cafe d'Arte. With all these beans, a tasting session was in order. Results are below the fold.
Some slightly related from Technorati and Google.
[Around the World in 100 Years] I guess I´ll have to make this post kind of snappy...: Yeah, I wasn´t feeling so hot. Cory and I stayed at the club for oh, about 11 seconds, and then decided to walk home. I´m a brave girl but walking down a deserted road in the middle of a rainforest at night is not something I care to do again. Everything I heard in the bushes I thought was a snake.
[Monkscafeblog.blogspot.com] Live Music: Cafe Blog: I get a similar feeling in bars (pubs), but of course the booze takes that away. So the cafe is it for me. If something weighs heavy on my mind, or if I want to write free with no interruptions, off I go to my local or some unknown cafe, to chase the bean or my thoughts.
[Langemark.com] Langemarks Cafe | Instant memories of a beta blogger: Information Architecture, Cyber Culture, Social Software, New Technology and the occational political rant. That is the core of my blog. I'm writing from Frederikssund in Denmark, I'm 41, and I'm a family man. And frankly - I'm too busy to keep this site alive, but I can't help it anyway.
[Nuzee.com] Nuzee: Boing Boing Blog: Cory Doctorow: This summer, San Franciscans can send their kids to tinkering camp -- a week-long sleep-over camp for young inventors where they collaborate on hardware hacking projects under expert tutelage. Man, I would have loved to go to this camp when I was about 13 -- much more fun than ceramics camp! The Tinkering School offers an exploratory curriculum designed to help kids - ages 7 to 17 - learn how to build things.
[Coffeegeek.com] CoffeeGeek - Regional: Western Canada, Coolest Bar machine in Victoria: Anyway I used to love the machines in Cafe Palermo--just for the simplicity...but man this machine rules for the look and tech.
[Hedonistix.blogs.com] Cafe HedonistiX: Quirkies: Meanwhile, a monkey who had been watching the whole scene from a nearby tree, figures he can put this knowledge to good use and trade it for protection from the leopard. So, off he goes. But the dog saw him heading after the leopard with great speed, and figured that something must be up.
