CoffeeKid - Falling out of the SCAA, and Green Coffee in Canada
„I found them because they just started advertising on CoffeeGeek (no, I'm not mentioning them here because of that - but it is true that I have not heard of this company before they signed up as an advertising partner). I think this is going to be my new source for Fair Trade green coffee - their single pound prices okay (not great), but the five pound prices are pretty good - average of about $7 a pound or less, in Canadian dollars. Compared to US sources of green Fair Trade coffee, it's downright cheap once you factor in shipping costs.“

„I know all this cos I rang Aerolatte to ask why it was cheaper in "HN" than direct from their website and they duly thanked me for pointing it out - they had forgotten to change the web price!!!. But have a think about the Solis/Dualit/Starbucks machine - its cheaper (£60 in John Lewis's or any of the Starbucks) has similar geared conical burr mechanism to the AL, good reviews on this site and surely easier to get parts/repaired back in the states should you get any problems. Aerolatte did tell me that they are slowly starting to phase out their grinder as its not a big enough seller for them - hence the recent price drop, so not sure how long spares will be kept for.“

„Version four, the 3 year run version, or 1.0 as I like to call it, was pretty good in its time. It garnered a lot of awards online, won a lot of praise (and a lot of criticism), and got my footing in the online world as some kind of quasi coffee expert (the jury's still out on that one, and there's plenty of folks online who would debate that point). I liked it, but it became a monster.“
