  „I'm new to commercial roasting but have roasted SWP decaf on three spearate occasions thus far in the few weeks that I've been running a Sivetz roaster. We do a three bean blend for our house decaf and by chance I had to use SWP decaf Guat instead of our customary Indonesian SWP. None of the beans including the Guat came out with any oil visible at all on the surface - not even the Guat. Decaf does have a much lower target bean temp - for us the target internal bean temp is about five degrees F lower than any of the caffienated beans.“

  „I bought some green (and was given some more) from my local commercial roaster- about 22 pounds. I roasted one batch of each bean in the HWP roaster and placed each roast in a separate jar. I waited a day or so and then, using my digital scale, created four or five different blends from those roasts. I am in the midst of testing these new blends and will report the details in a week or so when I have a full set of notes.“
