„On 6th March 2005 the Latte Art performers of the world will meet and decide who is the best. During 8 minutes they will present to 4 judges 3 pair of beverages: 2 Caffe-Latte, 2 Espresso–Macchiato and 2 beverages of their own choice. The competitors will use only espresso coffee and milk as their ingredients and espresso machine, grinder, and mug as their tool. Scores will be given for taste and visual performance plus for an overall impression.The competition is in recognition of the fact that this is the beverage where many consumers often meet the taste of coffee for the first time.“
