„That is, do not run espresso machine cleaner through the water tank and the pump unless the instructions say that it can be used this way. I like using Urnex Expresso Machine Cleaner for backflushing. Be aware that it specifically states that it is not to be used in the water tank. It is excellent for removing coffee residue, oils, grounds, etc.“

„A good question deserves a good answer. I am a supporter of the importance of crema in espresso extraction, but I alsobelieve that there is more to a good espresso extraction than the mere presence of crema. In fact, I have personally tasted espressos that offered a beautiful looking crema, but were extremely acidic, astringent and undrinkable.“
