„The Foreign and Commonwealth Office has joined the Department for International Development by switching to Fairtrade products in all its staff restaurants. Foreign Office Minister Denis MacShane said "We are putting our money where our mouth is by supporting fair trading practices, so growers are paid a fair wage for a fair days work." With 14% of gross domestic product (GDP) currently being spent Europe-wide on Government procurement, this current trend could have an enormous impact on Fairtrade sales.“

BBC Governors issue quarterly fair trading bulletin (#)
