CoffeeGeek - KitchenAid Retro Burr - Kirstin V's Review
(#)
„and I have a Maestro Plus on the way. For my day-to-day drip coffee I'm now using an idiot-proof Cusinart Supreme Grind (DBM8) automatic burr grinder which grinds as well as the Kitchen Aid at half the price and I don't have to stand there and babysit it while it grinds. (It has a little bar that you slide to the 4-6-8...18 cup in 2 cup increments, hit start and it stops on its own when it's done, the Kitchen Aid has a little flip switch that must be turned off and must be watched like a hawk when it's grinding) Doesn't look anywhere near as cool sitting on the counter but I decided that I'd rather invest my money in the Maestro Plus for my French press and just use the Cusinart for the regular stuff.“http://www.coffeegeek.com/reviews/grinders/kitchenaidretro/ cranberry - Cached
Global Exchange : Pursuing Justice One Cup at a Time

„to make sure that our cup of coffee .is fair-trade just simply fits in with who we say we try to be." Wicca Davidson, a real estate agent who chairs the kitchen service committee at her synagogue, Adat Shalom in Bethesda, said she decided to use fair-trade coffee at all the synagogue's social gatherings a year ago because "I wanted .something that was more responsible in terms of the people growing the coffee." The congregation "was delighted," the Chevy Chase resident added. Fair-trade coffee like Equal Exchange's, which costs from $5 to $6.80 a pound, is more expensive than the cheapest roasts that churches often buy at discount supermarkets but about the same in price as gourmet brands.“http://www.globalexchange.org/campaigns/fairtrade/coffee/ 1686.html - Cached

CoffeeGeek - KitchenAid Auto Drip - Other Models - John F's Review

„I know it can be difficult to make good drip coffee in small batches with a machine, but the Kitchen Aid exceeded my expectations. I would buy this simple model again even if a new one came out with additional features.“http://www.coffeegeek.com/reviews/drip/kitchenaid_auto_drip/brooklynbean/ 1716 - Cached
