„We grind our beans (just before use) in a newly purchased Solis Maestro Plus, which is a HUGE improvement over the Braun KMM30 grinder we had been using. While the Braun created so much static electricity there were coffee grounds all over the counter after use, the Solis produces almost ZERO static charge. Also the Solis seems to produce a more even grind than the Braun did.“

„After breaking carafes several times @ $23.00/ea on my Braun KF187, it became apparent that I am too clumsy to handle thin, handsome glass coffee carafes on a twice daily basis. The concept of brewing directly into a thermos-style container has always appealed to me, but usually they are only 8 cups and are glass liners (not a good prospect for me). When I saw that Melitta was selling a 10 cup thermal with a solid stainless steel serving carafe, and knowing Melitta's reputation, I felt it was worth a try.“
