„More studies are needed to quantify the impact of improved stoves on personal exposures. A recent study by scientists in NPIC's TBU in Gujarat, compared the emissions of carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx) and total suspended particulate (TSP) matter in a popular model of a traditional stove, a two-pot improved stove with chimney and a portable metal stove. The study found that the mean values of CO and NOx emissions from the improved stoves measured at the breathing zone of the cook were three to four times lesser than those from the traditional stoves. Similarly, TSP levels were six to seven times lower in the improved stoves.“

„Before Hearthware developed the popular Precision Roaster , they created the Gourmet Roaster. Like the Precision, the Gourmet is an indoor roaster that can roast 1/2 cup of green coffee beans at a time. It is also a very easy roaster to operate and is capable of making excellent tasting coffee with minimal effort.“
