„But for now, expanding East Timor’s access to the Fair Trade coffee market is considered the best alternative. As an example of how business and solidarity can work together, Cooperative Coffees member Just Coffee has partnered with the Madison-based East Timor Action Network (ETAN). Together they are offering delicious organically grown, Fair Trade coffee, while educating consumers about how they can help East Timor re-build its coffee economy - a core component in the survival of this new nation.“

„The cooperative mills that are the source for our Organic coffee have invested in new facilities, new wet-milling equipment, and improved standards of receiving and sorting only red, ripe cherry. This is a quintessential crowd-pleasing coffee, what I used to think of in the coffeehouse business as "good house coffee", a crowd-pleaser ...because everyone will enjoy it. It has an initial hint of its Indonesian roots, just a touch of pleasant woody-forest flavor (it's a good flavor, trust me!)“

„Drinking my first, fresh brewed cup of the Organic Timor I just received from Uncommon Grounds- now this is great coffee! Can't believe I've been putting up with that stale 8 O'Clock Columbian for 2 days! What a contrast!“

„Yesterday I'm at the grocery store, and I'm sort of in between coffees (got some Organic Timor coming from Uncommon Grounds in Berkeley, but it won't arrive till later in the week). I'm pretty cheap, as a rule, so I figure I might as well give 8 O'clock's 100% Columbian a try, as I've read good reviews of it at Consumer Reports.“

„They organize travel seminars to Chiapas and promote crafts development for Mayan women. They also import cofee from Mut Vitz and promote Fair Trade among Mexico solidarity activists and people in the St. Paul area. The farmers who grow Cloudforest Coffee are Maya Indians who live in the highland areas of Chiapas, Mexico.“
