„If you are going to use pods I highly recommend using Illy pods over any other brand (I have tried pretty much all of them). To save money I usually just buy whole bean Illy beans or go to my local supermarket and buy whole bean Starbucks Espresso beans and grind them to a fine grind at home. „Takes 9.5min to make a double crema from Illy beans with a grind setting of 3 or 4.  With a grind setting of 6 it takes 3 min to make a double crema from Illy beans and the taste is very watery.  Maybe I got a defective machine, but WLL support would not admit it was defective or offer any suggestions other than to "be happy" with watery cremas.  I returned it to WLL and will probably be nicked for their 20% restocking fee for a defective machine since they claim my return is "Buyers Remorse" and not defective machine...ouch.“
