CoffeeGeek - Espresso: Machines and Grinders, Rio Rebuild Pictures?? (#)

„I have access to a nice two group Rio at work and the chance to buy a Feama portafilter which looks a whole lot like the Rio filter.  I also have access to a Bridgeport milling machine at work. This is totally a guess but I think CMA and FAEMA my be like FORDS and CHEVYS. The grouphead on the Rio is some type of thermosyphon but appears nothing like a Faema.“

CoffeeGeek - Regional: Eastern Canada, Espresso Machine sales in Montreal (#)

„I've seen the Giotto at Cafe-Union and Feama Canada. I don't remember if it was at Cafe Creme, but I remember going into another store on Jean-Talon that had Elektras (Micro Casa) and Pavonis (both lever machines and some pump machines). During my short trip there, I didn't see the Livia.“

CoffeeGeek - Espresso: Machines and Grinders, e-61 machine flushing (#)

Feama used to push the notion that their machine were so efficiant at extraction that you needed less coffee per shot.  Twin boiler machines can't do this.  Which is why all the fuss about tamping.“
