„Glastonbury Festival 2004 (25-27 June) has blazed a trail for festivals around the UK by requiring all food stalls to sell Fairtrade coffee and hot chocolate. Working with Fairtrade supplier Cafeology, the FAIRTRADE Mark will be displayed on stalls throughout the festival grounds, guaranteeing festival goers that the coffee and hot chocolate they buy has been Fairtrade certified. Many stalls will also serve a wider range of Fairtrade products including tea and fresh fruit, although not yet a specific requirement for Glastonbury caterers.“

„Insurance giant CGU is the latest large company to select Fairtrade coffee, tea and hot chocolate for its vending machines, joining a trend led by parliament, councils and workplaces nationwide. Over a thousand staff at its head office in Perth and CGU Direct in Bishopbriggs will drink the new Fairtrade refreshments, supplied by Redwood Catering. Explaining the move, Managing Director Phil Loney said, "Something as inconsequential as my tea and coffee drinking habits can have significant consequences for the living standards of some of the most vulnerable people in the world. As a company, if we can support fairly traded products, then we will be positively touching the lives of people who do not have the privileges and opportunities which we are used to.“
