As part of parent company CWS's commitment to improving conditions for third world suppliers, they are ensuring that every Co-op store, from local Welcome shops to large Superstores, stocks Fairtrade coffee and tea. Whether one or fourteen feet of space are devoted to such products in-store, shoppers should now find a Fairtrade alternative on the shelves. Although most other supermarkets also stock some Fairtrade products, no other retailer has committed itself to putting them in every store in this way.“
