Later, the Fair Trade Verein was commissioned to do educational work and offer assistance to trading partners. In the same year originated the Fair Trade Beteiligungsgesellschaft (equity investment company), a 100 per cent gepa daughter, with the purpose of offering loans for gepa's capital intensive trading activities.“
