„After dinner was completely done and we were saying our good byes, I gave them a half pound of Jamaican Blue Mountain (Wallenford, from Riley's coffee)/ Kona (Peaberry, from SmithFarms) that I roasted myself the night before. They knew of JBM, not of Kona, but were blown away nevertheless. I never saw such rapidfire head bowing and cries of "sougay" (translation: "great!") in my life.“

„If you ever wanted to try Kona coffee, I highly recommend you do business with SmithFarms. Not only are they some of the least expensive Kona on the planet, but some of the tastiest as well. Canadians luck out her big time too - Cea can ship slightly less than 3 lbs to you via USPS Global Priority for $9 USD, which gets it to you in an average of 2 or 3 business days. Great if you're ordering roasted.“

„The short and sweet version is that both absolutely rocked my Pasquini Livia and Solis Master Digital 5000 machines. The last time I had pre-roasted coffee this good was when I brought home two quarter pound blends from David Schomer's Espresso Vivace cafe. In fact, it is a very rare occasion when I have a pre roasted blend in the house that surpasses the cup quality and aesthetics my own home roasting gives me. The last time it happened was with the Espresso Vivace Dolce blend.“

„There are some sweet notes in the taste, especially in the finish. While I prefer Kona when it comes to the "premium" beans on the market, I have to say Kona doesn't hold a candle to JBM for espresso. The Old Tavern, straight up for espresso, the day after roasting, is probably in my top 3 or 4 beans for espresso. It had a nice zing, a fairly smooth finish, and lingered for quite a while on the tastebuds, in a generally good way.“

„Craig's pricing is simple - all the coffees he lists are $5 a lb green, with a few premiums (Kona at $10 a lb, Cuban at $6 a lb). Keep in mind these are Canadian prices (and he only ships within Canada for now).“
