CoffeeKid - Grinder Revisited (#)
„Solis Maestro - probably the best all around grinder on the market right now. Can handle espresso to press pot (coarse) with ease, and look good doing it. About $129 or less.“

„The Bodum Antigua grinder is a good "starter" grinder using conical burrs. It can grind from a medium espresso grind up to a coarse drip pot grind, and a passable press pot grind. There are two models - normal, and metal.“

„Last, but certainly not least, the SL 70 features a very modern yet elegant design and a metal housing completes the package. Match up the SL 70 espresso machine with our Solis Maestro Grinder, and you have the perfect home espresso bar system. The two machines compliment each other well, and are built from the ground up to give you years and years of excellent service.“

„If the cycle takes longer than six minutes, grind your coffee coarser. When using a French press, the coffee will need to be ground extremely coarse. Espresso requires an extremely fine grind...almost powder-like with a slight grittiness. The key to the proper espresso grind is the extraction time.“

„ Press pots are an excellent and affordable way to enjoy a rich cup of coffee on the road or at work where an espresso machine is unavailable or where a vacuum pot would be a hassle. In times of 'desperation' you could even pre-grind the coffee, place it in the glass chamber and take the assembly to work or wherever. When there, just pour in the correct amount of heated water and your coffee will be ready shortly thereafter. You could even pour out the remaining water and clean up at home if there isn't a handy facility for that.“
