CoffeeGeek - Thermal Drink Containers - All - Mike Foster's Review (#)
„I just read Mark Prince's review of the pint Zojirushi, and he said that the pint model's pour-through stopper closes automatically when you put the lid on. I've had mine for a long time, and I've never tried this. I just did, and mine closes automatically, too!“

„Well that is what I would have thought too. I did say that to the lady on the phone and she said that they have been told to say that they are only for Matthew Algie machines. I suppose that it is to cover themselves if it doesn't fit someones machine. Seeing as your friend uses one though I shall assume its fine and get one :)“

„What method do people generally think is the best? I've pretty much ruled out perculators from what everyone said :) Also I think espresso right now is a bit too expensive for me.“

„legend of "cowboy coffee"? It was said they made their coffee by putting ground coffee into a clean sock and immerse it in water heated over campfire. When ready, they would pour the coffee into tin cups and drink it. “

„"It needs to be kept airtight then you can pour it off through a coffee filter - you can't make a mistake, just do it," he said. You can't keep it in a decanter for too long, just one week means it loses a lot of its flavour complexities, so you do really need to have a decent amount of people around.Even though Christmas is now dominated by cream liquers after dinner, Phil urged that whisky should not be forgotten - and there are few things better than a decent single malt.As an after dinner malt, Laphroaig is a top selection (and a nice present, if the family are reading), which starts at £22, and The Glenrothes is another excellent Scotch - the 1989 bottle is particularly recommended.“
