CoffeeGeek - Krups Premium - Fred Fallick's Review CoffeeGeek - Krups Premium - Fred Fallick's Review

„Reading reviews of this product (and most others), one gets the feeling that "if I bought it, it must be the best." No one seems capable of being critical or objective about the product they were stupid enough to buy, so let me be the first. I was stupid when I bought this coffeemaker. When I purchased it I went by information gleaned from glowing reviews filled with misinformation. What this is is a typical, flimsy, lightweight coffeemaker with a few good features.“

CoffeeGeek - Bunn Thermal Brewer - Michael Callihan's Review CoffeeGeek - Bunn Thermal Brewer - Michael Callihan's Review

„This isn't as good a job as the Starbucks model which had engineered a more tightly sealed lid. Obviouly, as with all thermal carafes, you *must* preheat with hot tap water to minimize the initial heat loss from the coffee into the carafe. Still, I wonder, for the difference in price between the thermal and glass carafe models, if it might have been cheaper and more effective to use a seperate thermal carafe/flask with the less expensive glass carafe machine. Oh well.“

„And of course we have the eccentric Japanese that buy up almost the entire stock of Jamaican Blue Mountain. Whilst this is true, something else has happened in the last decade in that so called retail gourmet coffee stores have arrived in Asia.“
