CoffeeGeek - Starbucks Barista Grinder - Bob Abbott's Review (#)
„ Even the normal grind tends to collect and the machine needs a good whack to dislodge it after each cycle. This can be a big problem if you go from flavored beans to non-flavored -- a disaster if the non-flavored happens to be for espresso.“

„2 Grinders or 1? If the roaster does sell flavored coffee along with the good stuff, how many bean grinders do they have? Flavored coffee should not be ground in the same grinder as the non-flavored coffee. Those flavors will drift into the next bean that is ground in the machine.“

„ Very broad range of grinds. But it has problems that make it unsuitable for some users, especially if you want to switch between flavored and non-flavored coffees, which would be a disaster for the "non flavored" coffee drinker. There are several places in the feed hopper and chute where beans hang up, and even shaking the machine will not dislodge all of them. Even if all you want to do is grind one type of bean, there's a ledge at the base of the feed hopper where beans will sit and go stale.“

„It’s so smart that it knows exactly how much water to use – to extract all of the flavor and none of the bitterness. All you need to do to get coffee bar flavored coffee at home is add the whole beans and water. Features include an adjustable auto shutoff, adjustable keep-warm thermostat, BrewPause™ feature and gold tone filter. Available in Black and White.“

„I don't like too strong of a flavor in my coffee, so I prefer a well flavored coffee blend over using syrups, Although syrups do have there place in a good drink.“
