Irene Luckett of Koffee Kompanions (makes those cool covers for press pots that keep them warm) and a regular alt.coffee person was poking the garden (along with Mark and myself) on perhaps making this (or at least looking at the feasibility)for vac pot carafes. She was looking for volunteers to send carafes to her (which she will return) for a couple of months so she can do patterns etc. This would be a Thinsulate insulater in a nice pattern that would keep the coffee hot between cups.“

„Logic tells you that vac pots heat the water beyond 100C. An experiment (a thermometer) would prove that you too are just plain wrong. The water in the upper (brewing) chamber of a vac pot is indeed in the ideal range of temperature.“
