  „this would be a nice twist on the fruit smoothies I was downing all last summer. Take a scoop of low fat or non-fat vanilla frozen yogurt, add a spoonful of simple syrup if you want an extra touch of sweetness (I'm now using the turnbinado "raw" sugar to make my simple syrup as it has much better flavor than white sugar), add whatever type of fruit you like and then pour over some ice cubes and mix in blender.  I was always sparing on the bananas when making fruit smoothies as they tend to over power all the other flavors. I'm thinking that low-fat frozen coffee yogurt, a double shot of expresso and your banana, cinnamon and nutmeg ingredients might be a winner.“
