CoffeeGeek - SL 70 Review - Operation and Maintenance
„Though I didn't have to do it myself, Solis recommends a good decalcifying of the machine every 4 to 6 months, and has detailed step by step instructions in the manual, along with pictures, on how to do it. Follow the instructions well (although you don't have to use their product, Solipol - you can use any coffee machine decalcifying cleanser), and your machine will hum. Don't use the old standby of vinegar - it will ruin the machine.“

„By comparison, all the other pod machines I've personally tried, which include a Francis Francis X1 (3 years ago), a Starbucks Barista, a Solis SL90, a Via Veneto and a Saeco Classico all were dreck by comparsion. I'm not saying that the pods tasted great through the Nivola. Just the best of the bunch. I need to get my hands on one of the more recent Francis Francis machines to see what they're like today - supposedly the machines have been updated somewhat.“
