„One really cool thing about the Impressa S9 - you set the volume of liquid used for each button like any other machine (press the brew button of choice, watch, and press the P button on the control panel when you have the desired amount of liquid). That's the normal part, but here's the cool part - after you set your volume, you get the option to fine tune it! There's a display on the screen that shows a range with a plus or minus.“

„ The best part is the milk frothing device which is easy to use and clean and comes with a container that you keep in the refrigerator filled with milk and then simply attach to a fitting on the machine when you want hot milk with froth. The whole package works perfectly, makes great coffee, capuccino or cafe au lait, and is easy to clean.“

„Because at $50, this is an exceptional value. You're getting a good starter machine that does have some power, especially in the pump and frothing abilities (once you overcome the machine's small boiler size problems), and if you're just trying to get into espresso and cappuccino, this machine is definitely a good starting point. Pair it up with a good grinder, (Saeco M2002, $100; Bodum Antigua, $75; Solis 166, $125, Briel Java, $75) and $150 or less, you have a capable home setup that will impress the non-espresso drinker, wow the cappuccino lover, and provide the tools to build your own barista skills. Buy the aftermarket chrome and brass portafilter from Saeco (around $20 USD), and you'll overcome further limitations this machine has.“
