„pull with lots of brown crema. Even grocery store coffee (Eight O'clock French Roast Whole Beans [all Arabica], gives excellent results. My steaming ability is also improving. Replaced Goldtone filter basket with pro model with more conventional spout (fit Mazzer portafilter fork better).“

„I don't recall seeing Columbian espresso blends and am not sure why. Quality arabica Columbian beans can make for an excellent drip or french press coffee. Perhaps they're used in some espresso blends but the blend names don't hint at the contents? It's typical for espresso blends to contain coffee from a variety of origins, thus allowing the blend to have the right balance of characteristics.“

„But I don't drink instant coffee. I drink espresso (a low caffeine drink) made from naturally low caffeine 100% arabica beans I roast myself to levels that don't allow some of the caffeine to come out of the grinds. Does that make sense?“
