CoffeeGeek - Espresso Cups Review - Cup Vs. Cup Vs. Cup Vs. Cup! ()

„Overall, Illy gets the win, but Tognana scores a point for weight, then loses it and more for the poor handle design. Saeco is second runner up to the Illys, and poor FF!! loses again.“

„As the doctor suggested I made soya a regular part of my diet. I now drink 'soy ff e e' a caffeine free substitute for regular coffe that I found on the net at www.S o y co f f e e.c o m, which is extremely tasty too. Soya is supposed to be highly effective against Parkinson's disease. Dr.“

„If they were fifty bucks, I'd rate them much higher. For this price, go for Illys. You can usually get a set of six illy cappa cups for around $150 if you shop around, and within a few years, if it is a popular set, they'll hold their resale value or increase.“

„It does push pods quite heavily (the FF!! machines started out life as being mainly for pod use), and their version of a "ristretto" is what we on the west coast call a normal single, but by and large, it's all good. They also take the time to feature the latest design changes in the FF! lineup, and especially the X1, going from the old metal and aluminum boilers to brass, and the new, better grouphead and portafilters, and the importance of such.“

CoffeeGeek - Starbucks Italia - David Faw's Review CoffeeGeek - Starbucks Italia - David Faw's Review

„I will opt for either the Digital Italia or better yet step up to the Saeco Comfort Plus or Professional. The machines for Starbucks have a nice stainless outside, but from what I can gather the Saeco machines sold through the chain are probably not as robust as their top end machines without the Starbucks marketing. Overall the espresso is quick and easy, the company is great, just realize the machine could have problems in the near future.“
