„The carafe itself has a well-designed pour spout: in a matter of about one-month of use, I haven't spilled even one drop of coffee. This had been quite a problem at times with our previous coffeemakers, requiring frequent cleaning of the countertop and sometimes wiping of the bottom of a freshly filled cup. Even though the carafe only has markings up to twelve cups, there is room for a couple more above that in both the carafe and water reservoir in the machine. The maximum capacity for ground coffee is 15 tablespoons, according the instruction manual; but, in my tests, explained at the end of this detailed commentary, I found that you may be able to use more than that.“

„To create your measurement rig simply drill a hole just large enough to admit the probe wire in the bottom of a coffee brewing basket. Run the wire up the pour spout of the porta-filter handle, through the hole you drilled in the basket and snap the basket into place. The wire should protrude no more than 3/8” above the bottom of the coffee basket.“

„This dilutes your coffee too much, especially if you are brewing a half pot. One other thing that bothers me about the Cona is the pour spout on the bottom vessel is really narrow - too narrow even for my special vac pot brush, a question mark-curved bristle brush designed specifically for vacpots with narrow necks and wide bellies. If this brush doesn't fit, that Cona's mouth is really narrow.“

CoffeeGeek - Cafetino & Royal Brewers First Look!
„The pour spout on the Royal's kettle sticks out further from the body than the Cafetino's spout does, which means you can put a cup down flat in front of it to pour - the Cafetino's spout is too close to the body of that brewer and you have to hold your cup to pour with the stainless steel model. The Royal also has a lid for the glass brewer, which is mainly a cosmetic thing, but also can serve a nice purpose (outlined below).“

„Caused when the lid is not on correctly or if the lid is damaged. If you have a thermal decanter, make sure the ARROW "Brew/Pour" is pointing toward the spout when brewing.“

„The wine thermometer can be inserted into the bottle stopper and hence the bottle. The non drip pouring spout allows the wine enough air to breathe. The bottle stopper fits inside the pouring spout or directly into the bottle neck to seal the bottle .“
