„The "B" offers the same convenience & brews the same good coffee as the "D" - it's just half the capacity. OTOH, the Cona's main downside is even more apparent here - priced just slightly lower (about US$ 140-ish, IIRC) than the "D", the "B" is rather expensive. Still, for a one, or two person household, I think it is worth it in the end. A vac pot this good just gets used very often & each time with the same pleasure.“

„Apart from the stunning visuals, the Royal is a good vacuum brewer & capable of producing an excellent cup of coffee, or maybe tea. With its automatic action it is easier & quite a bit safer to use than other vac pots, since it's impossible to let the boiler run dry. Also convenient & certainly less messy is serving the coffee from a tap, instead of pouring it from a carafe.“

„Reneka further improves on this by insulating the boilers, and using electronic sensors and a computer system to control the temperature. The temperature of the boilers can be independently programmed on the fly using the keypad. You can easily adjust the brewing temperature to best suit the particular coffee, or blend you're using, without affecting the steaming ability.“

„After a year or so of this, the glass pot invariably breaks from the stress. Also, a press pot brews one to four servings at a time (depending on the size of the pot), so it is not really practical for slaking the thirst of a large crowd of java addicts.“
