„ If your reviewing for the site, well, the author knows this. Basically, he orders a machine from a company that offers two thermal carafe version of the machine, knowing full well that it will fail keeping the coffee "fresh" for one hour on a hot plate, then proceeds to bash the machine for that very reason. It just doesn't make any sense. The most valuable part of the review was the testing of the brew temperature, something that almost every single other coffee machine fails at.“

„My only concern about this review, is the fact that CG even requested a no thermal carafe version. If your in this forum you probably know that a hot plate is a no no. If your reviewing for the site, well, the author knows this. „Bottom Line: Much better than hot plate type brewers which burn coffee from sitting and very often brew too quickly. If you have to use a drip machine, get one with a thermal carafe and showerhead design like this one.“

And also remember - I'm extremely picky - while I get bothered by heating plates and glass carafes, 98% of consumers couldn't care less about that option; heck, some of our readers even prefer a hot plate, glass carafe setup.“

„ There is an optional switch that may also be turned on once the machine is brewing that heats the hot plate up to full capacity. I was originally contemplating the thermal carafe model of the Clubline but was led to this model by Cheryl at Boyd's. She mentioned that the thermal carafe with the Clubline isn't anywhere near as good as some of the thermal carafes on the market today. She recommended the CD model, especially as she has one herself.“
