„This also offered the feature of making 1-3 cups of coffee with a small quantity setting plus a "pause and serve" feature which is similar to Krups "stop n' serve." The control panel has a 24 hour programmable digital clock/timer that offers a two hour automatic shut off after brewing. The model comes in white or black plastic and has a top filling, easy to read side water level indicator, a removable filter basket (with an option for a gold plated metal basket), and a light to let you know the coffeemaker is on. I found the lid did indeed keep the coffee aroma in the carafe but I found the coffee to be lacking in character.“

I have also sent letter to every coffee shop owner and super market manager in the Roaring Fork Valley, explaining what fair trade is and where the can contact suppliers here in Colorado. I also provided information and supplier contact info to a coffee shop that has just opened up in Colorado Springs. In addition to that I have formatted a petition to local businesses urging them to offer fair trade products and am starting to look at some tableing opportunities to get them signed.“

„I find two conclusions to be drawn from all of this:One: Even if coffee drinkers buy their coffee at a supermarket, they (generally) will do better in terms of quality if they are willing to pay a bit more for whole beans and do the grinding themselves. Two: There is at present a rather impressive range of cup profiles available to the supermarket coffee buyer, from the almost effetely refined Illy Caffe, through the rugged Eight OClock Bean Original, to the acidy classic Dunkin Donuts, to the smoothly innocuous MJB European Roast, to the delicately aromatic MJB Hawaiian Blend. However, the tendency to promote brand over honest description means the coffee buyer may have some difficulty matching expectations to cup.Which leads to a third, bonus conclusion: Read Coffee Review before you visit the supermarket and buy the cup that fits.“
