Instead, a thermoblock unit maintains a continuous water temperature by pumping it through a heated coil to arrive at the brew temperature. This thermoblock unit allows you to get continuous cups of coffee, allows you to add water as it brews, and, after use, it empties itself so water doesn't stale in the brewing system. The housing is made of heavy black plastic and includes a warming tray.“
