„Anything but the coarsest setting would result in frequent clogging. I didn't try changing to a less oily bean because I know that just about every variety that I enjoy and buy from Peet's has a high oil content; it's part of what makes the coffee flavorful, so why would I want to compromise to accommodate the machine? Finally, I think it should be noted that this machine probably better suits an office environment where it would get turned on and off once a day after numerous brews. For someone like me making a single drink in the morning, it's still a pretty labor intensive process: turn it on, put an empty cup under the coffee dispenser and let it do the required rinse cycle that must be done prior to the first brew of the day, dispense the espresso, switch to steaming the milk (manually, but faster than my Krups), run a required rinse cycle of the milk frother that is necessary after each frothing, place an empty glass again under the coffee spout since it again rinses itself when you hit the power button to turn it off.“

„While I sold the machine and now have a 77 pound commercial  Elektra at the office (see review), I would go back to one because of its beauty and quality of coffe it makes. Also the ECM Giotto (or a similar one) is less cumbersome in the house. But this time I would have the water directly connected ( with a ball valve for safety purpose).“
