I was hooked and when I read "The Devil's Cup: A history of the world according to coffee" by Steward Lee Allen I was landed!! I had always thought of coffee as no more than a simple caffeine hit. I didn't realise that there was so much variety and that it could be condensed into it's purest form in espresso!“
