  „1/2 cup softened butter 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar 1 egg 11/4 teaspoons vanilla 11/2 cups flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon baking soda 6 tablespoons coffee syrup divided (see coffee syrup recipe) 3/4 cup coarsely chopped pecans 11/2 cups sifted confectionerís sugar 2 tablespoons milk 1. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and both sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and one teaspoon vanilla until light.“
