„This is his first head chef position and though the setting is a pub, the style of the restaurant is more upmarket and Mason’s food has the sophistication of someone in tune with handling quality ingredients to produce excitingly original dishes. The potential for stars from the serious guides is there with the likes of artichoke velouté, pan-roasted scallops with pea purée and black pudding and pancetta among the starters, and mains such as roast rump of lamb with dauphinoise, haricot beans and clams, and chargrilled rib-eye steak “bourguignon”, with potato rösti and creamed French beans. Desserts too fit the starry potential: warm chocolate fondant with toffee sauce and stem ginger and lemon grass brulée with rhubarb compote. £75 for two, set lunch from £14, Sunday lunch £22.“

For instance, in cooking rice pudding, we should all be using bay leaves which gives us that wonderful flavour. „In the top one when you opened the lid, there was a load of compartments for ingredients and stuff and a little fridge. when i lifted that up to show the second compartment, there was a wide flat griddle pan on the bottom (kind of like the bottom half of a lean mean grilling machine) and the top half a fully functional expresso/capuchino machine, with hot steam pipes and everthing, and a food processor.It was a laptop kitchen! Marvellous!so what kind of things do you write? need criting?slothman“
