„The Dualit Toaster, the Alessi lemon-squeezer, the Apple I-Pod. All desirable design icons that most of us would forfeit our eco-consciences to own. But does it need to be this way?“

„He said further research was needed before people with blood pressure problems were advised not to drink decaffeinated coffee. Professor Bryan Williams, of the Blood Pressure Association, said the study was small and inconclusive. He said: "Recommendations to reduce or cease coffee consumption in people with hypertension would not be appropriate as it would not make a major impact on blood pressure." „LOL! Does anyone else get a bit cheesed off with going into a coffee shop and being bewildered by the choice? It seems like there are double decaf lattes and Espresso, and Mocha, and Cappuccino, and Mochaccino, and Macchiato, and Double shot espresso and, well, the list goes on.I remember when you could go and ask for a coffee and get a choice of either instant or filter.Call me a rebel, but I go into coffee shops and refuse to get bogged down with jargonese. When I have ordered my black coffee with hazelnut syrup and the infant behind the counter asks me if I want a 'Grande' or a 'Massimo' I will say 'no thank you, just a large please' What ever happened to 'cup or mug?'.Grande is big enough. As for the Massimo, well, I made the mistake of ordering one...“
