„The Fairtrade Foundation and the Fairtrade MarkThe Fairtrade Foundation created the term Fairtrade to describe the goods marketed to provide support and assistance to communities ravaged by fluctuations in the global market place. It was founded by CAFOD (Catholic Foundation for Oversea Development), Christian Aid, New Consumer, Oxfam, Traidcraft and the World Development Movement, who were joined later by the Women's Institute. The foundation grants a consumer label, the Fairtrade Mark - two black interlocking F's on a white background - to products which meet internationally recognised standards of fair trade. „Apparently, the corners on some cups cause the froth to collapse.There are, however, some drawbacks to the pump-operated maker: The water is not quite as hot as other methods, improving the flavour, but can be too cold if milk is added. Although the maker normally has a steam attachment for frothing milk for cappucinos, this can't be done at the same time as making the coffee, because the water is not hot enough, so you must turn on the steam attachment, wait a minute for it to warm up and then froth the milk. It is easier to froth the milk by other means, such as a swizzle stick. The machine is slow.“
