„there are two types of coffee: Robusta (which is used in instant coffee and only grows below 1500 meters) and Arabica (which is a finer coffee which only grows above 1500 meters). I was amazed to discover that coffee grows as two green beans inside a bright red cherry, the finest coffee is hand-picked by small poor farmer, subject to weather and market fluctuations and can pass through as many as fifty hands on its way to my cup each making a buck on the way, except the farmers. Frenzied trading All Arabica coffee is traded on the coffee, sugar and cocoa exchange in New York where in frenzied trading pits producers, roasters and scalpers shout at the top of their voices and wave their hands frantically trading future contracts of coffee in units of 38,500 pounds without a coffee bean in sight. Now the coffee price has fallen to an all time low.“

„Our family was one of the first families to settle in Carnwadric and for me it holds many, many happy memories. It was a beautiful place in those days and our house was on Carnwadric Road at the corner of Cona Street. We had lots of green space to play and being a hop step and a jump away from "Ghandi's Wood" and the Ivy Castle we could fantasise in many ways and in many games. There were not yet any shops in Carnwadric and we had to walk across the wee bridge (just a track then) to go up to Thornliebank for all of our groceries.“

„Thats a BIG decision. Especially since it is a replacement for a former machine. I don't know if this is similar advice or different, but i would say the grind can be a CONTROLED variable. IF you get the grind where you want it LEAVE IT THERE If you never change it then your grind is set and consistent (with a good grinder).“
