The new production opened with the sweeping to power of New Labour at the 1997 General Election and ran from there, satirising the government's spin-obsessed shallowness ('Cappuccino is like New Labour - a little bit of coffee and a bloody lot of froth') while relating the tales of Mole and his life.“

Does anyone else get a bit cheesed off with going into a coffee shop and being bewildered by the choice?It seems like there are double decaf lattes and Espresso, and Mocha, and Cappuccino, and Mochaccino, and Macchiato, and Double shot espresso and, well, the list goes on.I remember when you could go and ask for a coffee and get a choice of either instant or filter.Call me a rebel, but I go into coffee shops and refuse to get bogged down with jargonese. When I have ordered my black coffee with hazelnut syrup and the infant behind the counter asks me if I want a 'Grande' or a 'Massimo' I will say 'no thank you, just a large please' What ever happened to 'cup or mug?'.Grande is big enough.
