Arabica vs Robusta: No Contest (INeedCoffee.com) (#)
„Coffee shops generally use Arabica beans, but because their brews are so strong, I don't enjoy them. I had always been satisfied with the various Maxwell House roasts and blends, until I bought my first bag of Arabica beans, ground them, brewed and drank the elixir.“

„Roasted by specialty coffee roaster, White Cloud Coffee, LifeFoods uses only 100% OCIA-certified, shade-grown, high altitude organic Arabica beans, and uniquely fluid-bed air roasts them, providing retailers and consumers with a “cleaner” organic roast, free from coffee dust and coffee debris associated with typical drum roasting methods.“

„Monsoon Malabar is a unique coffee grown at 1,000 to 2,000 meters above sea level. It is a significantly larger arabica bean named for the region and its rainy season which contributes to the beans' higher moisture content. To create a "monsooned" crop, the green coffee is warehoused in an open structure protected from rain while moist tropical air blows through the storage area. In a 2 to 3 month period, the beans absorb moisture, losing a degree of natural acidity and at roast time, a richer yet mellower beverage results.“

„But I don't drink instant coffee. I drink espresso (a low caffeine drink) made from naturally low caffeine 100% arabica beans I roast myself to levels that don't allow some of the caffeine to come out of the grinds. Does that make sense?“
