„He was looking for a fair solution to this problem and started to research the way coffee was then brewed. He noticed that inside a conventional Drip or Turkish system the grinded coffee beans are soaked by hot water that slowly pass through, by gravity. Then Bezzera had an idea, to speed up the soaking he introduced pressurized hot water to the coffee brewing, reducing the time needed for the operation. He called his new process the "Espresso" coffee machine.“

„I don't recall seeing Columbian espresso blends and am not sure why. Quality arabica Columbian beans can make for an excellent drip or french press coffee. Perhaps they're used in some espresso blends but the blend names don't hint at the contents? It's typical for espresso blends to contain coffee from a variety of origins, thus allowing the blend to have the right balance of characteristics.“
