The Doserless Rocky is a great alternative to an Anfim, and I think it has less propensity to clog, and quiter operation. We also have some new sizes and styles of frothing pitchers and a new low cost thermometer ...“

„The advantage of a dosered grinder is that one can grind out as much as one thinks will be needed to fill the PF basket and dispense it relatively quickly.  Not that there isn't a workaround with the Anfim doserless if one is willing to catch the grind in a bowl and then transfer it into the PF basket.  I would think that those with a doserless grinder would want to grind directly into the PF basket.  Aside from not being able to do anything while the grinding is going on because one has to hold the PF basket to catch the grind, it can and will be much, much more messy than using the dosered version.“

„ The grinds didn't even look the same.  Looking closely, the grinds from the braun were all different sizes, and were somewhat powdery, while the Anfim's grinds looked like uniform granules, kind of like sand.  After drinking a shot, there are no grounds left in the bottom of the glass (which I figured was caused by non-uniform grinding and coffee "dust"  production when I used the Braun).  Besides not having small grounds that will leak through into the cup, the uniformity allows you to reduce variability between shots.“
